Announcing the Winners of Thompson's 2026 Draw the Future Competition

For more than 30 years, The Thompson Organization has invited local young artists to imagine what the future of transportation could look like. The annual Draw the Future Contest celebrates creativity, big ideas, bold colors, and the limitless imagination of students from kindergarten through sixth grade.

This year, Draw the Future was bigger than ever with two separate competitions: one in Doylestown and one at Thompson Lexus Willow Grove. Each location hosted its own contest and awards ceremony, giving even more young artists the opportunity to have their work recognized and celebrated.

Students were invited to design their most imaginative futuristic vehicle, whether inspired by Toyota, Lexus, BMW, or a vision completely their own. From flying cars and space-age cruisers to eco-friendly inventions and vehicles we have never seen before, the 2026 entries once again showed just how creative our local students can be.

Winners were selected for each grade level at both locations, with first, second, and third place honors awarded in each grade, along with a Grand Prize Winner for each contest. We are proud to congratulate all of this year's finalists and thank every student, family, teacher, and school who helped make the 2026 Draw the Future Contest such a success.

2026 Doylestown Grand Prize Winner

The Doylestown Grand Prize was awarded to Anna W., whose imaginative artwork, "The Beauty Car," stood out for its dazzling creativity, originality, and vision for the future of transportation. Anna's car is covered in faceted surfaces that reflect light to shine with a spectrum of colors.

2026 Willow Grove Grand Prize Winner

The Willow Grove Grand Prize was awarded to Timofey K., whose artwork, "Turbo Driller," captured the spirit of the contest with a future-forward design full of imagination and personality. Imagine drilling underground to get through that next traffic jam!
