Holiday Toy Assembly Help for Bucks & Montgomery County Families
The holidays are busy enough. That’s why our Thompson Service and Parts teams are opening the Free Toy Assembly Workshop to help families in Doylestown, Willow Grove, and the surrounding Bucks & Montgomery County communities.
From November 21 through December 19, our talented Toy Technicians will carefully assemble a wide variety of new, unwrapped toys at Thompson Service & Parts Centers — so every gift is ready to surprise and delight on Christmas morning.
How the Free Toy Assembly Workshop Works
Simple drop-off, stress-free pickup
- 1Gather your new toys.
Bring unwrapped toys that require assembly — bikes, dollhouses, play kitchens, ride-on cars and more. Please keep all small parts in their original packaging or clearly labeled bags.
- 2Include instructions & contact info.
Drop toys at any Thompson Service & Parts Center along with the printed instruction manuals and your best contact phone number.
- 3Our Toy Techs get to workFree Service
Our technicians will assemble your gifts as schedules allow and perform a quick safety check before they’re ready to go home.
- 4We’ll call when toys are ready.
Once assemblies are complete, a team member will contact you for pickup so you can add the wrapping and hide them away until the big day.
What kinds of toys can we assemble?
Our Free Toy Assembly Workshop can handle most toys that arrive in pieces or require tools. Common items include:
- Bicycles & tricycles
- Ride-on & motorized children’s cars
- Dollhouses & playsets
- Play kitchens & workbenches
- Train tables & activity tables
- Indoor & outdoor sports equipment
Have a unique or oversized item? Ask a Service Advisor at drop-off and we’ll let you know if it’s a good fit for the workshop.

- Is there any cost for the Free Toy Assembly Workshop?
No. Toy assembly is completely free as a service to our community. There is no purchase required and no service visit needed to participate.
- Do toys need to be purchased from a Thompson dealership?
Toys can be purchased anywhere. As long as they are new, unwrapped, and include all parts and printed instructions, our Toy Technicians are happy to help assemble them.
- Do I need an appointment to drop off toys?
No appointment is required. Simply stop by during regular Service & Parts Center hours between November 21 and December 19. If you’re bringing several large items, calling ahead is appreciated so our team can plan workspace.
- How long does toy assembly usually take?
Timing depends on the number and complexity of toys dropped off that day. Our teams work through items as quickly as possible and will call you when everything is assembled and ready for pickup.
- Which Thompson locations are participating?
All Thompson Service & Parts Centers are participating, including Thompson Toyota, Thompson BMW of Doylestown, Thompson Lexus Doylestown, and Thompson Lexus Willow Grove. This makes it easy for families across Bucks County and Montgomery County, PA to take advantage of the free toy assembly service.
- Can you guarantee my toy will be assembled by a certain date?
While we can’t promise exact completion dates, our goal is to complete all toys dropped off during the November 21–December 19 workshop period before Christmas Eve. Bringing items in earlier gives our Toy Technicians more time to work them into their schedules.
