2023 Draw the Future Winners

Announcing the WINNERS of Thompson's Draw the Future Competition

For over 30 years, the Thompson Organization has encouraged local young artists to put their creativity to the test and design the Toyota, Lexus, or BMW of the future. This year, Thompson reached out to over 1500 teachers in Bucks and Montgomery schools to invite students to participate. 

Their team anxiously awaited the submissions of creative students and community youth and were overwhelmed by the number of submissions received this year. In total, Thompson received 1100 submissions from 57 local schools, making 2023 one of their most successful years to date!

Three winners for each grade level were selected by Thompson's panel of judges, and those 21 winners were invited to Thompson Toyota to celebrate their accomplishments and claim their prizes at an awards ceremony on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Each winner also received a commemorative 2023 Draw the Future t-shirt at the ceremony. Our Grand Prize winner, Sulan Shi's artwork is currently on display on a billboard located on Durham Rd. (Rt. 413) in Newtown, PA, 0.5 miles south of Rt. 232.

Grand Prize Winner:

The grand prize winner was Sulan S, a 6th grader in Central Bucks School District.  Sulan drew a futuristic, environmentally friendly Toyota that runs on natural energy.
