If you travel down the interstate on a trip, or even on your daily commute, you likely see a lot of big rigs and tractor trailers. There is a reason for that: a typical long-haul truck travels approximately 140 billion miles each year in the U.S.
That’s a lot of miles covered, isn’t it? Toyota recently announced its decision to make their vehicle transport trucks better for the planet.

At The Thompson Organization we were impressed to hear about the partnership between Peterbilt and Cottrell, Inc., truck and trailer manufacturer, and Toyota. Together, the companies have built a transporter truck that is the first of its kind: it runs completely on Compressed Natural Gas. Much better for the planet which in turn, is much healthier for all of us.
