A Bit of Family History

In 1969 the statement, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," was voiced to describe our country's progress in space exploration. The same statement can be applied toward Jack Thompson's determination to introduce a new automotive line to Bucks County and the surrounding areas.

Think back nearly forty years ago when you first heard about a Toyota. Or even the first time you saw one. It was probably one of Jack's. He opened the first local Toyota dealership in 1969. With hard work and perseverance, additional dealerships were acquired including BMW in 1986, Lexus in 1989 and Scion in 2004. The Thompson Organization continued its growth with added customer convenience services such as the Collision Center, Rent A car, the Detail Center and Valet Service. The evolution process has continued as Thompson branches out to reach new markets. Our website is a virtual dealership open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  What a convenient way to browse our inventory, schedule a service appointment or find out what's new at the dealerships.

As his dream continues to move forward, Jack Thompson never forgets to look back. He keeps in mind the reason for his success, and assures that all Thompson employees do the same. If it wasn't for the support of those around him, his goals may have only progressed so far. For this reason, Jack's support of the community and residents is highly evident. The intention and drive that gave The Thompson Organization its start is still maintained to this very day.
